Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because it allows me to engage in a full spectrum practice and to pursue my interest in lifestyle and preventative medicine. Additionally, family medicine provides the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and to develop long-term relationships with them. The opportunity to develop these relationships and establish a high level of trust with patients ultimately led me to choose family medicine. 

Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose this program because of the strong clinical training and because of the supportive environment among the faculty and residents. During my interviews everyone was welcoming and genuinely excited about the program. I quickly felt at home and knew it would be an excellent place to continue my medical career. 

Interests and hobbies: I enjoy wood working, barbequing, fitness, and spending time with friends and family.
