Bio

Why I chose family medicine: Committing to family medicine was a natural choice for me as it allows me to serve the members of my community with a holistic approach to medicine. I love that family medicine encompasses all the stages of life and the complexity of the human person—both physiologically and socially. I enjoy being a part of a community and contributing to its health, wellness, and education—and it is this lifestyle that I hope to make my vocation by being a family medicine physician.

Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Arnett Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose the IU School of Medicine Arnett Family Medicine Residency Program for its camaraderie among the residents, faculty, and staff; for the longitudinally structured curriculum; and for opportunity to continue my life journey in Indiana near family and friends. I appreciate the emphasis IUSM Arnett places on wellness—both patient wellness and physician wellness—and look forward to working with everyone in this area.

Interests/Hobbies: I enjoy reading fiction novels, playing basketball, baking desserts, and traveling.

Clinical Interest: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Women’s Health and Underserved Medicine
