Bio

Why I chose family medicine: It grants me the privilege to form long-term partnerships with patients to best understand their states of wellness and illness and how that fits into their life as a whole, allowing me to provide the most individualized care possible. In addition to this holistic approach, I also love the emphasis on preventive medicine and opportunities for community engagement. The all-encompassing nature of family medicine allows me to pursue all my clinical interests and learn new things every day!

Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Arnett Family Medicine Residency Program: I liked the family-feel of the program, supportive and receptive learning environment, comprehensive training with unique features like the longitudinal curriculum and procedure clinics, emphasis on wellness and community engagement, unopposed program at a community hospital with the resources IU School of Medicine offers.

Interests/Hobbies: spending time with my family and golden retriever, eating out with friends, journaling, watching comedy shows, exploring state parks, and attempts at cooking.

Clinical Interest: full-spectrum family medicine with special interests in outpatient medicine, geriatrics, underserved medicine, procedure training, and teaching.
