Why Emergency Medicine? I really enjoy working with both pediatric patients and adults in an acute care setting. Our job is a bit of a puzzle and we get to meet a lot of interesting people along the way. It's something new every day!
Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? Of everywhere I interviewed, IU had the BEST combination of training hospitals (and without requiring long commutes). We have three Level 1 trauma centers, a burn center, pediatric hospital, county AND academic... you name it, we see it. Plus, our coresidents and faculty are brilliant and fun.
What are some of your personal interests?
Academically: Simulation, medical education, mental healthcare
Personally: collecting fun socks, petting animals, tending to my plants, and biking
