Bio

Why Emergency Medicine? I love having the opportunity to care for patients and their families during their moments of need. Patients arrive to the ED scared, confused and often times in pain. I enjoy being able to provide comfort and reassurance to them while treating their conditions and working to provide a final diagnosis so that I can work to get them the definitive care that they need.

Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? IUEM has a strong reputation of providing residents a robust training caring for large volumes of very ill patients and producing outstanding residents prepared to practice in any environment. I was looking for a residency that would challenge me to become the best EM doctor that I could be and it was clear that IU would provide this opportunity.
