Why IU: My favorite part about this program is the people. During my interview day it was clear to me that the residents are friends outside of the hospital and have a close relationship. Since I have begun my training at IU I have been welcomed into the Med-Peds family and now I look forward to working with my friends every day. The size of the program at IU is a benefit as we have our own identity but still seamlessly integrate with our categorical colleagues. Med-Peds also has a huge presence within the IU health system, which is an asset as there is a system in place to support residents with whatever their goal may be. Indianapolis is also a great town to live in with lots of running trails, it is very bike-friendly, and the nightlife scene has something for everyone. I wish you all the best this interview season and I hope that you find your perfect fit just like I did here at IU!
