Bio

Why Emergency Medicine? I chose emergency medicine to be able to care for patients and their families on the worst days of their lives. EM provides the incredible opportunity to go from resuscitation to caring for comparatively mild ailments and to be part of a wonderful team while doing so.

Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? When I rotated as a medical student, it was clear to me that the residents were masters of resuscitation and departmental awareness. Further, the family feel of the program made me feel like I had found my home.

What are some of your personal interests? Fencing, CrossFit, gardening (vegetable and houseplants-my house is a small jungle), hanging out with my dog and cats
