Bio

Dan is a native Texan who grew up in suburb just north of Dallas. He graduated from one of the largest high schools in the country with a class size of 1418 and shortly after, decided to attend one of the smallest colleges he could in Lexington, Virginia. After deciding, Virginia was too cold, he returned to Texas for medical school where he became interested in emergency medicine after watching the documentary "Code Black" and becoming involved in his Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG). As he progressed thorugh school, he helped to coordinate the 1st Annual Texas Two Step Day, where all thirteen medical schools in Texas come together to teach hands only CPR to the public across dozens of sites on the same day. After interviewing across the country, he fell in love with IUEM which combined a top notch training program with such a friendly and welcoming enviornment. As it is still summer, he hasn't realized that Indiana is cold tundra and might grow to regret his decision. However at the moment, he is loving life and can't imagine being anywhere else.
