Why IU: When I was looking at residency programs, there were three things that I thought were most important: rigorous clinical training, exposure to a wide variety of illnesses, subspecialties, and clinical settings, and program leadership that would support me in my education and career goals. Luckily, I was able to find all three at IU, with the added benefit of being able to live in Indianapolis with my new Med-Peds family. Residency is supposed to be one of the most challenging times of your life, but IU is a place where I enjoy going to work every day knowing that I will have fun with my peers, become a better doctor, and make a difference in my patients’ lives.
