Why IU School of Medicine, Emergency Medicine: Dr. Weber appreciates that IU offers exposure to caring for critical patients early and often during training. The faculty pride themselves on pushing residents' practice every single shift, which results in highly skilled and proficient EM physicians. As a rotating student, it quickly became clear to him that the IU School of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine family is unique and special. The entire program, from top to bottom, is truly built upon supporting and strengthening one another in order to better care for patients.

Hobbies and Personal Interests: His interests include triathlons, pick-up basketball games, DIY projects and snowboarding. He especially loves spending time with his wife and Great Dane.

Fun Fact: Against the advice of both his high school guidance counselors and principal, as senior class president he chose the class motto to be "Life's a garden, dig it. - Joe Dirt." Subsequently, it was printed on a 30 foot banner and displayed over the commencement stage.
