Why IU: IU has all the elements of a great Med-Peds program. It is a well-established program with strong clinical training in a large yet easily accessible and affordable metropolitan area. Our Med-Peds program has a huge identity on campus and is viewed as an asset by the leadership of the categorical programs. Residents have the resources and mentorship to pursue any field they choose, whether that is rural primary care or niche sub-specialty training. However, what really separates IU from all the other great Med-Peds residency programs is the genuine family atmosphere. My wife and I couples matched and that culture of caring and unity was the first thing we noticed during our interviews and was what stuck with us the most after interview season was over. I hope you will come spend some time with us so we can show you all of the things that we love about our residents, our program and our city!
