Bio
Hometown: Flossmoor (Chicago Suburbs), IL
Undergrad: Notre Dame
Medical School: University of Illinois-Chicago
Professional Interests: Combined Med-Peds Infectious Disease, Global Health
Fun fact: Between college and medical school, I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Burkina Faso, where I taught junior high science!
Why IU: I was initially drawn to IU for the incredible clinical experiences at a variety of hospitals and clinics, both locally and abroad. Ultimately, I plan to specialize in Infectious Disease, and there are vast teaching and research opportunities on both the medicine and pediatrics sides here. Getting to know my co-residents and forming awesome friendships have been one of my favorite parts of residency! We have so much fun exploring Indianapolis, especially cardio dance, canal walks, and game nights! I can't imagine residency anywhere else, and I am so grateful to call IU Med-Peds 'home.'
