Bio
Jared Shields, MD is a subspecialty trained and certified emergency medicine radiologist and has been a faculty member within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences since 2020. Dr. Shields graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with Distinction. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from IU School of Medicine in 2015. He also completed his radiology residency and fellowship at the school. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology reading pediatric emergency radiology. Dr. Shields’ interest include emergency and pediatric radiology.
