Investigator Enrichment Program
The Enrichment Program at the IU School of Medicine Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases (CDMD) seeks to create a rich dynamic environment for learning and regular interaction between investigators at all levels. The program is co-directed by Peter Roach, PhD, and Nuria Morral, PhD—both NIH-funded diabetes researchers.
The center consists of three major activities in which center members and trainees from across five T32 grants as well as medical students from the NIDDDK Medical Student Research Program in Diabetes participate. The Ingestive Behavior Research Institute at Purdue University, directed by Richard Mattes, RD, distinguished professor and R01-funded investigator, is an Enrichment Program partner providing seminars and a T32 training grant focused on ingestive behavior.
