Enrichment Program

The Enrichment Program at the Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases seeks to create a rich dynamic environment for learning and regular interaction between investigators at all levels. The program is the focal point for the dissemination and exchange of knowledge within and between IU School of Medicine and its affiliated institutions by sponsoring a seminar series and an annual symposium that bring top local and national investigators together in a collaborative and interactive forum.

These activities benefit not only investigators, but also students and postdoctoral fellows who are supported by five T32 awards from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). These institutional training programs focus on basic diabetes research, biomedical engineering research in diabetes, nutrition research, basic and clinical research in endocrine diseases and complications research.

The Enrichment Program is directed by Núria Morral, PhD.
