IUPUI forum presents opportunities to partner in IUPUI entrepreneurial projects

INDIANAPOLIS — Interested in getting in on the ground floor of the development and financing of the next great research-based innovative business or product?

An IUPUI forum this month will provide opportunities for the public to take an interactive and in-depth look at some of the most innovative and entrepreneurial projects arising from the research programs at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the Indiana University Research and Technology Corporation will host the IUPUI Innovation to Enterprise Showcase & Forum from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, in Rooms 450 A and B of the IUPUI Campus Center, 420 University Blvd.

The forum will bring together students, faculty and staff from across the IUPUI campus to present opportunities for collaborative development — new ventures, business or product development, R&D collaborations and commercialization — to potential business community partners, collaborators, advisors and investors.

Forum attendees will have the opportunity to engage with several of IUPUI’s distinguished faculty scholars as they present their research projects and to explore opportunities for business development and collaboration. The projects represent a wide range of interests, including innovations in health care and pharmaceuticals, information technology and advanced materials, including educational and training materials.

The event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP with online registration is requested.
