The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Neurology offers a one-year ACGME-accredited clinical neurophysiology fellowship. Three positions are offered each year. Two of these positions focus on EEG and epilepsy; the remaining one position focuses on EMG and neuromuscular disorders.
Under the direction of Dragos Sabau, MD, all clinical neurophysiology fellows learn the entire range of neurophysiology techniques, including EEG, EMG, intraoperative neurophysiology monitoring and sleep studies. Fellows acquire the skills necessary to function independently as a clinical neurophysiologist in either an academic setting or private practice. This program has trained more than 90 specialists in clinical neurophysiology since 1972.
