Bio

Dr. Khushali Jhaveri is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Indiana University and a board-certified hematologist-oncologist specializing in B-cell lymphomas. She completed her Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center, where she served as Chief Fellow for Communication and Wellness and was a representative on the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC).

Dr. Jhaveri is actively involved in clinical research, with a special interest in the impact of sarcopenia on CAR-T cell therapy treatment outcomes. She has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, with her work widely cited in leading journals such as Clinical Cancer Research, Cancer Immunology Research, and Blood Advances.

She has presented her research at national and international conferences, including American Society of Hematology (ASH), and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Additionally, she has contributed to book chapters in the third edition of the Handbook of Hematologic Malignancies.

Beyond her clinical and research work, Dr. Jhaveri is passionate about medical journalism. She has written articles on topics such as life after cancer treatment, fertility preservation for cancer patients, and the effects of climate change on public health. Her work has been featured in Medscape, ABC News, and Good Morning America. Dr. Jhaveri is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

Dr. Jhaveri has written extensively on medical journalism and public health issues, covering topics such as: How treatment affects life after cancer, Fertility preservation for cancer patients, and the impact of climate change on public health.
