David M. Agarwal, MD

Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology & Imaging Sciences


     Dr. David Agarwal is an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Former Director of the IUSM Vascular & Interventional Radiology Fellowship training program. He is Board Certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology and is a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).

     Dr. Agarwal received his Medical Degree and his Bachelor of Science degrees in Molecular Biology and German Culture at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. After General Surgery training at the Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts and the Nassau County Medical Center in Hempstead, New York, Dr. Agarwal completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the New York Medical College St. Vincent Medical Center in Staten Island, New York and his Vascular & Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.

     Dr. Agarwal’s research interests include treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, portal hypertension, and biliary diseases as well as all areas of Interventional Radiology and he volunteers with Special Olympics Indiana, Boy Scouts of America, and Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA).
