Dr. Adam Russman grew up between Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan for undergrad and studied physics with a focus on molecular biophysics, then attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Prior to fellowship, he did a year of categorical surgery in Chicago, Illinois, before switching to pediatrics. He completed his pediatrics residency in Stony Brook, New York, then came back to the midwest for his pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children. He chose gastroenterology because of the diverse pathology, the numerous procedures, the varied career opportunities, and enjoys joking about poop. In his free time, he likes painting, drawing, reading, writing, cooking and playing games.
