Bio
Why I chose family medicine: I thoroughly enjoyed every rotation during medical school. Thus, I chose a specialty that incorporates all fields of medicine. I want to manage a wide range of pathologies across every organ system in both acute and longitudinal settings. The amalgamation of intellectual curiosity, humanistic care, variation in age range, continuity of care and the broad scope of family medicine clearly aligns with my holistic view of medicine. I am excited to foster meaningful, trusting, long-lasting relationships with my patients, promote preventative medicine, perform procedures and practice up-to-date evidence-based medicine.
Why I chose the IU Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program: Upon my first visit, I was impressed by the strong sense of camaraderie amongst the residents, faculty and staff at the IU Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program. I was also extremely impressed with the vast procedural opportunities, dedicated faculty and resources offered by a large academic institution. I am eager for the opportunity to train as a full spectrum physician. Additionally, the warmth and friendly nature of the people of Indianapolis made me feel at home right away.
Personal interests and hobbies: I enjoy dancing, playing piano and guitar, playing board games, cooking and connecting with friends and family.
