Bio

Dr. Snider received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Georgia, and her PhD at the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Indiana University under an NIH-funded T32 program and is now an Assistant Research Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Snider is currently working in the lab of Dr. Simon J. Conway within the department of Pediatrics. Her interest in genetics and molecular biology has led her to research focused on neural crest related congenital heart defects and most recently, the different fibrotic responses of lung and heart following injury.
