Douglas J. Vile, PhD
Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiation Oncology
DJ received his BS in Physics from Salisbury University in Maryland. He completed his PhD and residency training in Medical Physics from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. His doctoral research focused on statistical motion modeling of patient anatomical changes while undergoing radiation therapy for prostate cancer. He maintains an interest in deformable image registration, principal components analysis, and adaptive radiation therapy. In his spare time, DJ enjoys birthday parties, petting zoos, and roundtable discussions of postmodern literature.
