Gordon Guo, MD

Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiation Oncology

Radiation oncology is a rapidly evolving field of medicine that takes full advantage of the
physical properties of ionizing radiation and advancementof computer-based treatment planning and imaging. After receiving my medical degree from University of Toronto, Canada, I went on to specialize in radiation oncology, followed by a brachytherapy fellowship at Mount Sinai Health System in New York City.

Brachytherapy is the most conformal radiotherapy as radioactive sources are placed within the tumor. When given under state-of-art image guidance, brachytherapy can achieve excellent tumor kill with minimal side effects.

My clinical areas of expertise are Genitourinary and Gynecological malignancies. Quality and safety are my priority.
