Dr. Sliwa graduated with honors in Chemical Engineering class of 1985 at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.  He went on to graduate from IU Medical School in 1989.   He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Ball Memorial Hospital.   Chief Resident 1992-93 at Ball Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Sliwa is active in EMS services in Tipton and Henry counties.    He was also the former head of Emergency Medicine at Henry County Hospital.

Dr. Sliwa is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at IU Health Tipton and Saxony hospitals.

He loves spending time with his two teenagers.
