Dr. Ren is Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Section of Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is the Cystic Fibrosis Center Director at Riley Hospital for Children and he is also the Pediatric Pulmonary Function Laboratory Director. He graduated from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. Dr. Ren completed his pediatric residency and allergy/immunology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. He then completed a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Dr. Ren holds membership in numerous national professional societies including the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and the Society for Pediatric Research. His research focuses on early determinants of cystic fibrosis lung disease and lung development.
