Bio

Dr. Alex Lion  is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and is one of the newest faculty members of the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine and Riley Hospital for Children. Dr. Lion joins the neuro-oncology team with a special interest in ethics and spirituality in pediatric oncology.  He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Public Health from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed Residency at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and Fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health.  Dr. Lion also completed a Fairbanks Clinical Ethics Fellowship at Indiana University.  When not working, Dr. Lion enjoys reading comic books, making music, and spending time with his wife and children.
