Sara K. Kane, DO
Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics
Dr. Sara Kane received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA, and her D.O. from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her pediatric residency training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, where she also served as a chief resident. She completed her fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. During her fellowship training, Dr. Kane also earned her Master’s Degree in Adult Education from Indiana University. She is an attending neonatologist at Riley Hospital for Children, IU Health Methodist Hospital, and IU Health North Hospital. She has an interest in resident and fellow education, especially in program development, curriculum design, and evaluation methodology, and also participates in running neonatal simulations for pediatric and emergency medicine residents.
