Bio

 

Dr. Jacquelyn Carter is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Indiana University in the Section of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. She is also a physician in the Pediatric Precision Genomics Clinic. She completed her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis and received her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She did her Pediatric Residency at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in Saint Louis and her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Indiana University, Riley Hospital for Children. She completed a fellowship in Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology at Indiana University and is working on a Master of Science in Clinical Research degree at Indiana University.

    Dr. Carter’s research includes work with tumor molecular profiling and outcomes in the treatment of relapsed or refractory pediatric sarcomas. She is also working on developing an investigator initiated therapeutic trial for relapsed or refractory solid tumor patients in line with Pediatric Precision Genomics' molecular profiling data and is serving as the quality of life lead for the observational cohort trial, Precision Medicine for Kids with Cancer (PM4KC).
