Joined CHSR to focus on the development of a statewide system for screening, evaluation and continuous coordinated care for children and families with neurodevelopmental disabilities *30 years of experience blending skills in health systems improvement with maternal and child health nursing, health science education, and health care management. *Director and Co-Founder of the Center for Medical Home Improvement (CMHI, 1997-2013). CMHI focused upon the development and sustainability of community-based primary care medical homes and interdisciplinary professional education for its staff. *Principal Investigator - Lucille Packard Foundation for Children’s Health board grant “Achieving a Shared Plan of Care with Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs” *Principal Investigator and/or Co-Investigator for HRSA MCHB system grants (1997-2013); lead research role for AHRQ R18 medical home transformation study resulting in 2 peer-reviewed articles. *Consultant to professional organizations/ state agencies: American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Children’s Health Plan, Children’s Hospital Boston, and others.
