Frances M. Russell, MD
Division Chief, Clinical Ultrasound
Frances Russell, originally from Connecticut, obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Iona College in New York where she ran Division I Track and Cross County. She then received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and finished EM residency at the University of Connecticut.
After residency she travelled to Chicago for an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at Cook County Hospital. Frances joined the EM faculty here at Indiana University in 2013 and serves as the Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship director.
Her medical interests include ultrasound education, dyspnea and diagnosis. She spends a majority of her free time enjoying the company of her husband Brent and dog Bernie.
