Jamie J. Coleman, MD
Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery
Dr. Jamie Coleman, MD, FACS joined the IU School of Medicine faculty in August of 2012 as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. She received her MD from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at the Rush University-John H. Stroger, Jr Hospital of Cook County Integrated program. This was followed by an additional two years of training in the Emory University trauma and surgical critical care fellowship at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Coleman's clinical expertise is trauma, emergency general surgery and surgical critical care. Past and current research interests include pulmonary embolism, traumatic abdominal wall hernias, geriatric trauma, burnout and physician wellness.
