Shawn Wilson, PhD, is the Director of Faculty Development at Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine in Faculty Affairs, Professional Development, Diversity. Shawn is also an associate faculty in the Department of Organizational Leadership and Supervision (OLS) through the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI. In his director role, Dr. Wilson supports faculty in their leadership, teaching, and research development. His research focuses on college teaching, faculty development, unconcious bias, and the experience of minority faculty. Shawn teaches courses in ethics and leadership through OLS. Shawn also holds a PhD from Indiana University, MA from Ball State University, and a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
