Bio

Shawn Wilson, PhD,  is the Vice Chair of Diversity for the Department of Pediatrics, where he is also an Assistant Professor. Dr. Wilson also serves as the Vice Chair of Professional Development and Diversity for Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, where he holds a secondary faculty appointment. Additionally, Dr. Wilson is an Adjunct Assistant professor of Organizational Leadership in the Department of Technical Communication and Leadership through the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI, where he teaches courses in organizational leadership, ethics, and technical communication.

Dr. Wilson's scholarship and research center on (in)equity in academic medicine.

Dr. Wilson earned his PhD from Indiana University, MA from Ball State University, and a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
