Bio

Dr. Haggstrom completed a pediatric dermatology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Haggstrom is board certified in dermatology and pediatric dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. After her fellowship, she practiced in Washington D.C. for two years before joining the faculty at Indiana University in 2006. She is currently the Director of Pediatric Dermatology and the Multidisciplinary Vascular Anomalies Clinic and is the Program Director for the Dermatology Residency Program at Indiana University.  She is the president of the Hemangioma Investigator Group which is an international collaborative group dedicated to improving care for patients with infantile hemangioma through research, advocacy and education efforts. She is a member of the Society of Pediatric Dermatology and a co-leader of the Birthmarks research group of the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA). Her clinical interests are in pediatric dermatology and she specializes in vascular birthmarks and their medical and laser treatments.
