Bio

As the Assistant Director of Research and Translational Sciences, Ms. Whipple’s primary goals are to develop policies, services, and infrastructure to support research, data, and translational sciences initiatives within the Ruth Lilly Medical Library.

I currently spearhead the library’s involvement with the two Indiana University School of Medicine’s (IUSM) research strategic initiatives around information management—an electronic lab notebook (ELN) project (using the tool LabArchives) and the required data management plan (DMP) for all federally funded investigators at IUSM.
