Marian D. Pfefferkorn, MD

Dr. Pfefferkorn is the Director of Endoscopy for the division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. She was the Pediatric GI Fellowship Training Director from July 1998-June 2017.  She is interested in clinical research and has several investigator-initiated research. She also collaborates with colleagues within the Division, with other subspecialties and with pediatric centers nationally and internationally on studies involving celiac disease, reflux esophagitis, eosinophilic esophagitis, and constipation/encopresis. In recent years, she has focused on inflammatory bowel disease research, including epidemiology, diagnostics and state-of-the art therapeutics.
