Christine R. Stehman, MD
Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine
Having grown up in Indianapolis, Christine left for all her education, completing a BA in Biology and Math at Kalamazoo College, Transitional Internship in San Diego, Emergency Medicine residency at Cook County in Chicago, and Surgical Critical Care at Brigham and Women's in Boston. Interspersed in there was travel to Australia and England and the Middle East (courtesy of the US Navy and USMC). After visiting many places in the world, Christine is happy to be back home in Indy cheering for the Colts and serving as clinical faculty in the Eskenazi Emergency Department. She is interested in critical care, residency education and the transition between the emergency department and the critical care setting. Outside of the hospital, Christine enjoys traveling, exploring the new restaurants and activities in Indianapolis with friends and family, working out (especially running and CrossFit) and reading good books.
