Daniel Corson-Knowles, MD
Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine
Daniel grew up in Indiana and has found it hard to leave, completing undergraduate, medical school, and residency here. His major interest in academic medicine is clinical education. When he is not working he is usually parenting his children, who are a blast. Daniel loves anything involving the outdoors - biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, climbing, you name it, he loves it.
As a director of clinical distinction, Daniel develops the Phase 3 curriculum to create outstanding opportunities that prepare medical students to begin the supervised practice of medicine in residency. His goal is to build opportunities for students to develop skills and passions complementary to the pursuit of clinical excellence, strengthening their career preparation and broadening the scope and depth of their impact on patients, communities, organizations, and the medical profession. His hope is to see the school's thriving graduates achieving their dreams and leading the future of the medical profession.
