Laura M. Tormoehlen, MD

Dr. Tormoehlen completed her Neurology residency and Medical Toxicology fellowship at Indiana University. To our knowledge she is the first physician to have dual training and board-certification in both Neurology and Medical Toxicology. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of Clinical Practice for Neurology and operates a Neurotoxicology clinic. Dr. Tormoehlen is active in both teaching and research within Neurology and Toxicology and holds appointments in both departments.  Her areas of interest include opioid intoxication, drug screening, hyperthermic syndromes, and neurologic sequelae of poisoning.
