Student Outreach Clinics

Representing one of the most ambitious Service-Learning initiatives at Indiana University School of Medicine are the Student Outreach Clinics in Indianapolis, Fort WayneSouth Bend and Terre Haute. Each of these facilities is a student-led health clinic that offers free health care to the uninsured and underserved in Indiana communities. Under a shared-governance model, medical students at IU School of Medicine manage the clinic and its services under the supervision of licensed physicians. The student outreach clinic program is designed to improve the availability and quality of health services in underserved populations.
