Medical Service Learning

Medical students in Indianapolis—and at all other IU School of Medicine statewide campuses—are encouraged to engage in medical service-learning experiences as members of the community. The Student Outreach Clinic offers volunteer clinical experiences for students outside formal instruction, and Indianapolis offers a wide range of other service learning opportunities to advance students’ professional interests. Currently, 21 active student service groups are a part of the Medical Student Service Group (MSSG) in Indianapolis.
