Bio

Dr. Aldrich serves on the IU School of Medicine statewide implementation teams and is the Evansville course director for MS1 Host Defense and MS2 Musculoskeletal and Dermatology courses. She is a member of the American Association of Immunologists, the International Association of Medical Science Educators, the IUSM Academy of Teaching Scholars, the American Association of University Women and serves on the advisory council of the Women’s Fund of Vanderburgh County. Previous basic science research includes investigations of antigen presentation by MHC class Ib molecules to cytotoxic T lymphocytes and the effect of dietary amino acid deprivation on immune system development in a mouse model. Current research interests examine the role of a flipped classroom in medical school curricula.
