A car is necessary for transportation throughout the city of Evansville and to campus, and parking is free across Evansville and on campus.

Campus Transportation

Evansville is a central hub in the tri-state area, making it easy to access nearly all forms of transportation. Nearby interstates connect southwest Indiana to nearby major cities, including Indianapolis, Louisville, St. Louis and Nashville. Evansville Regional Airport makes connecting outside southern Indiana easy with nearly 30 daily flights to and from the major hubs of Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Detroit.

Within Evansville, public transportation is available. However, students, staff and faculty are strongly encouraged to have a car for day-to-day travel throughout the city and to surrounding clinical sites. On campus parking is free.

While on campus, all classrooms, labs, public library and study spaces are within walking distance, but clinical rotations are not. A map of campus shows the Evansville campus’ central location downtown—within walking distance of numerous amenities.
