Cancer Biology Positions

Department: Medical Sciences Program
Position: Assistant/Associate Professor

Applications are being accepted for a 12-month tenure-track position in cancer biology. Candidates from all areas of cancer-related research are encouraged to apply, especially individuals focusing on cancer metabolism and cancer cell signaling. The successful applicant will join faculty from Medical Sciences and the College of Arts and Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry) in a newly established graduate program in Cell, Molecular and Cancer Biology (CMCB). The Assistant/Associate Professor will have the opportunity to develop collaborations with faculty in the Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis and have access to state-of-the-art facilities for genomics and bioinformatics, biological imaging, metabolite and protein analysis, structural biology and chemical biology.

Successful applicants must have a PhD, MD or MD/PhD, demonstrate a strong potential to establish an externally funded research program, and contribute to the departmental teaching mission at the undergraduate, graduate, and/or medical level.
