Konrad M. Szymanski, MD, MPH
Assistant Professor of Urology
Dr. Konrad Szymanski is a pediatric urologist specializing in reconstructive surgery of congenital abnormalities. After graduating from the University of Toronto Medical School, Toronto, Canada, he completed his Urology residency at McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
During his residency, he demonstrated his commitment to research by earning a Masters Degree in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, Massachusetts. He went on to complete his fellowship training at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. He is an Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

His research interests include patient-reported outcomes and long-term outcomes after surgery performed in childhood. He is recognized for his work on quality of life with children and adults with spina bifida, health issues faced by young adults growing into adulthood after complex genitourinary reconstructive surgery, as well as healthcare concers experienced by girls and women with congenital adrenal hyperplasia and their families.
