Katherine H. Chan, MD
Assistant Professor of Urology
Dr. Chan completed medical school at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, followed by Urology residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed a three-year pediatric urology fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. As part of the fellowship, she earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Chan joined the Division of Pediatric Urology in the Department of Urology, Indiana University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in August 2013.
Dr. Chan sees patients at the Riley Outpatient Center, Eskenazi Health Outpatient Care Center and at a Riley satellite clinic in Richmond, Indiana.

Dr. Chan is actively involved in the development of a clinical outcomes research program in pediatric urology at Riley Hospital. Her research interests include shared decision-making and patient-centered outcomes for hypospadias surgery. She is also interested in risk factors for the development of kidney stone disease in adolescents.
Dr. Chan is an Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine. She has dual appointments in the Division of Pediatric Urology, Department of Urology and the Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Comparative Effectiveness Research in the Department of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine.
