Message from the Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

The goal of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program at IU School of Medicine is to graduate experts in child and adolescent psychiatry, and we are proud to have been doing so for over fifty years. We uniquely prepare our trainees to pursue their aspirations with diverse training opportunities at one of the nation’s top-ranked children’s hospitals.

Fellows in this program have the opportunity to work in community-based clinics throughout training and may also embark on elective rotations internationally. Fellows are encouraged to dive head-first and pursue opportunities that cultivate their unique interests. Expert faculty are dedicated to mentoring fellows so they graduate with a comprehensive understanding of human development of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents and will provide ethical and compassionate psychiatric treatment.

We’re excited you are interested in pursuing a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at IU School of Medicine and welcome applications from all ACGME accredited program trainees.
