Education Programs

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology faculty uses innovative methods to effectively communicate the current state of knowledge in pharmacology and toxicology to the medical, graduate and post-graduate students within the university. The department also provides opportunities for students to excel in the laboratory and develop as life-long learners. Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology faculty teach foundation courses in the Physician’s Assistant Program and the Anesthesiologist’s Assistants program. Graduate students in the department can train toward the MD/PhD dual degree offered through the Medical Scientist Training Program.
