Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinical Care

Obstetrics and gynecology faculty experts provide clinical care through Indiana University School of Medicine’s partnership with Indiana University Health. These physicians provide care at several IU Health hospitals across Indianapolis as well as at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Health. They also serve as consultants to other physicians throughout the state. Because of their strong commitment to research and training new OB-GYNs through the department’s residency program, faculty OB-GYNs are able to provide top-ranked care with the latest treatment options for patients.

Obstetrics

IU Health obstetricians deliver more than 3,000 babies each year. Obstetrical care provided by IU School of Medicine faculty to patients through IU Health and Eskenazi includes antenatal and postpartum care, prenatal genetic diagnosis and screening, pre-pregnancy examinations, prenatal visits, ultrasounds, childbirth education and more. Physicians work with patients to provide the best possible maternity care before, during and after childbirth.

Gynecology

Gynecologists with IU Health provide gynecologic care to patients ranging from adolescents to seniors. This may include adolescent gynecology, routine annual exams, menopause services, premenstrual syndrome care, birth control and family planning, breast health care and more.
