Bio
After training both in Brazil and in the US, Dr. Marco Lacerda practiced for 14 years in Curitiba, Brazil, establishing well-structured Hepatology and Liver Transplant programs. Dr. Lacerda also served in education of medicine residents and GI fellows, while leading a medicine service at a large local hospital center. In 2007, he moved to Indiana to engage in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation. Currently, Dr. Lacerda is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine, and the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
