Interventional Cardiology Fellowship

Led by program director Elisabeth von der Lohe, MD, training for the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program takes place within the adult diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab, which provides cardiac and peripheral diagnostic, interventional and congenital catheterization procedures for patients. The catheterization and interventional labs are staffed by specially trained physicians, nurses and technologists to provide high-quality care and effective treatment for patients with heart and vascular diseases. As a primary investigational site for new treatment modalities, the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at IU School of Medicine continues to make great strides in improving long-term benefits while providing the best possible care for patients in Indianapolis.
